Erupt Download Manager (EDM) is a fast, modern download manager for Windows and macOS, built for people who download a lot and hate waiting.
MULTI-SEGMENT SPEED
A dynamic multi-segment engine opens parallel connections and reassembles files on the fly, squeezing the most out of any connection — up to 10x faster than a browser download.
QUEUES, SCHEDULING AND CONTROL
Line up hundreds of files in smart queues, set priorities, and schedule downloads for off-peak hours. Per-task and global speed limits. A real-time speed graph shows exactly what is happening.
BROWSER INTEGRATION
A free browser extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox hands downloads to EDM before the browser chokes on them: one click, right-click menu, batch capture, and a floating sniffer that reports media resources found on any web page.
VIDEO AND STREAMS
The built-in video engine detects streaming video on the pages you visit and downloads it in the best available quality — up to 8K — automatically merging audio and video into one file. Subtitles can be downloaded automatically, and live streams can be recorded straight to local video files.
OPTIONAL MODULES
Extend EDM with one-click modules: a desktop floating ball with live speed and progress for quick pause, resume and drag-and-drop; a video engine tuned for high-quality video sites; and a live-stream recording module. Modules install and uninstall cleanly from inside the app.
SMART FILE MANAGEMENT
Downloads are automatically sorted into category folders (videos, music, documents and more), with customizable rules. Clipboard monitoring can pick up copied links, and system proxy support keeps everything working behind corporate networks.
MODERN, FLEXIBLE, WORLDWIDE
A polished interface with dark and light themes, a system tray with live transfer stats, and 16 interface languages. EDM supports silent auto-updates and runs natively on both Windows 10/11 (64-bit) and macOS.
